Description
Parque del Agua with its more than 120 hectares, is the largest urban park in Zaragoza and a great place for birding. The park is located in a meander of the river Ebro and is very accessible. It has riparian forest on the banks of the Ebro river and ponds and channels with reed beds. Also open meadows and woodlands. Birds that breed in the park are: Бугайчик, Очеретянка ставкова, Очеретянка велика, Шуліка чорний, Сплюшка євразійська, Вивільга звичайна, Дятел малий, Крутиголовка звичайна, Бджолоїдка звичайна, Ремез звичайний, Очеретянка середземноморська and Кам’янка звичайна On migration: Мухоловка строката, Вівчарик світлочеревий, Вівчарик весняний. Located in the northern part of the city of Zaragoza, it can be easily reached by public transport (urban buses line CI2), on foot, by bicycle or by private vehicle. The map shows a 9 km circular walk along the edges of the park and along the banks of the Ebro. But you can also easily walk a shorter route through the park.
