You can drive around Lake Ladik easily. It is a nice place to do birding because there are forests, gardens, meadows, a lake, mud flats, reed beds, etc. During spring migration, you can see thousands of Ластівка сільська and Ластівка берегова on the lake site. Пелікан рожевий can be seen there, too. Чернь білоока is another species highlighted here. Зелений дятел and Чапля єгипетська can be seen around the lake. Орлан-білохвіст and Баклан великий, which also can be observed, are typical birds in such wetlands in Turkey.

Access
You can go explore the Lake Ladik area by car. It is close to the main roads. There is one main road passing through from southern part of the lake. It is possibe to drive around the lake site by village roads. Zoom in on the map and click on a P in the map for directions or coordinates.
