Around the Yedikır Dam, there is a plain where the wintering Сова болотяна population occurs. Also, the wintering Гуска білолоба flocks occur around the dam. Beside, the Журавель степовий breeds close to the dam which is the modern breeding couple of the species in Turkey. Лежень can be seen in the northern part of the lake in the flat dusty areas. You can see Пісочник малий, Орлан-білохвіст, Перепілка звичайна, Чернь білоока, Попелюх звичайний and many more. Also, this area always has a possibility to see rare species there such as Казарка білощока which is the second record for Turkey. Пугач палеарктичний can be seen there which would be an uncommon record of the species. Therefore, it is obvious that you should go to the dam area to do birdwatching if you can.
