Description
The walking track alongside the cliffs and coast provides ample opportunity for seawatching. Сула атлантична can be seen flying and diving off shore, gulls including Мартин морський are likely and Баклан великий fly past regularly.
The northern section of the path gives less views of open sea, but includes some sections of trees and vegetation as well as views of Angle Bay and the salt marsh in the harbour there. Expect to find common birds such as Вільшанка, Дрізд чорний, Дрізд співочий, etc. Підкоришник звичайний is also possible.
Alongside the southern path Жайворонок польовий, Трав'янка чорноголова and Коноплянка are abundant in summer, and there is a colony of Ластівка берегова. Both Щеврик лучний and Щеврик острівний are likely.

Access
Angle West would be the best carpark to start from making a small loop around to The Old Point for lunch, but a point-to-point along the southern path is also possible incorporating Freshwater West carpark and beach.
The only toilets are at the car parks, and the path, particularly the southern section has a feeling of being very remote. There are no houses or buildings nearby.
The coastal cruiser bus goes between Pembroke and Angle three times per day and could help with planning a point-to-point walk.
