Above the treeline, Жайворонок польовий, Щеврик лучний, Пронурок біловолий, Сивка звичайна, Плиска гірська, Набережник палеарктичний, Кам’янка звичайна, Куріпка біла, Підсоколик малий, Сапсан, red deer, mountain hare and Тетерук євразійський may be seen. The summit of Beinn Vorlich at 3,113ft/943 metres is likely to have Куріпка тундрова, Беркут, Крук звичайний, Хрустан євразійський and Пуночка снігова.

From Glasgow drive north on the A82. Inveruglas is 4 miles beyond the A82/A83 junction. Nearest train station is at Arrochar. The ascent is 960 metres and return trip is 8miles/13 km. Be prepared - equip yourself with stout boots, waterproof clothing, map, compass, charged mobile phone, food, water, and details of the weather forecast.
