Description
Blakeney Point is a National Nature Reserve and AONB. Thriving nesting site for Крячок річковий, Крячок полярний, Крячок рябодзьобий and Крячок малий. Also Мартин звичайний and occasional Мартин середземноморський. Common and grey seals breed. Winter wildfowl such as Пухівка зеленошия, Синьга and Гуменник короткодзьобий. And rare passage autumn migrants such as Сірий (Великий) сорокопуд, Щеврик азійський, Вівчарик лісовий and Кропив’янка рябогруда. Очеретянка лучна and Очеретянка ставкова in the reed beds.

Access
Parking at Cley for those attempting the long difficult walk on shifting shingle to the point. NB the Visitor Centre is currently closed. Park at Morton Quay or Blakeney Quay for boat trips. Check tide times as the car park can get flooded, also boats only run 4 hours either side of high tide. See the link to the tides table below.
