Autumn is the time to see Скопа passing over Brockholes on their way back to Africa, while in winter, the reserve is packed with migratory waders. Other birds you can see here are Щиглик звичайний, Ополовник звичайний, або синиця довгохвоста, Чорна синиця, Очеретянка лучна, Рибалочка блакитний, Кульон великий and Чернь чубата.
