Description
Chafford Gorges is a beautiful nature reserve set in amongst a new build housing estate, with lakes overlooked by a huge white ravine. A network of pathways take you around lakes, meadows and woodland. Among the birds that you can expect to see are Рибалочка блакитний, Дятел звичайний, Зелений дятел, Ластівка берегова, Широконіска північна, Чернь чубата, Пірникоза мала, Яструб малий, Очеретянка лучна, Очеретянка ставкова, Кропив’янка чорноголова, Щиглик звичайний and Очеретянка середземноморська. In winter, the gorges are visited by birds such as Чиж лісовий, Чечітка мала and Попелюх звичайний.

Access
The park is within walking distance of Chafford Hundred railway station. When you choose to arrive by car there is a free car park on site. Click on the P in the map to get directions.
