Description

Elliot Burn is an extensive sandy beach just south of Arbroath with dunes, lagoon, marsh, and reedbeds. The area is good for gulls, especially Мартин малий in late summer, also Крячок рожевий then. Also divers, waders, seaducks, auks, migrants and occasionally an otter. Bottlenose dolphins can be seen offshore. The marsh is good for Баранець звичайний and Баранець малий in winter.
