Description
Around the Fish Quay in Hartlepool gulls hang around, especially on the roof. Often joined in winter by Мартин гренландський and Мартин полярний. In the harbour entrance Пухівка зеленошия, Гагара червоношия, Гагара полярна and Кайра тонкодзьоба can often be seen. Sea watching by the lighthouse can produce a large variety of gulls, ducks, auks, terns, skua’s and shearwaters at various times of the year. The rocks along side the promenade are home to Побережник морський, Кулик-сорока and Крем’яшник звичайний that winter in Hartlepool bay.
