Description
The area has a mixture of habitats including more open areas of grassland, a good selection of trees, most of which are best described as being young, including Ash (Fraxinus), Oak (Quercus), Alder (Alnus), Hazel (Corylus), Cherry (Prunus) and Sycamore (Acer) and boundary hedges.
Most birds are of more common species, Зозуля звичайна and Кобилочка-цвіркун are sometimes seen but more regularly heard and are more than likely to be just passage migrants. Both Вівчарик-ковалик and Кропив’янка чорноголова are regular summer visitors and some may overwinter. Вівчарик весняний are summer visitors and Ластівка сільська can be seen feeding over the open grass areas.
