Description
Beautiful views and plenty of places to explore in a relatively small area, including the pier, rockpools, and beach. Parking and places to eat also in abundance. Huge noisy colony of Мартин трипалий breed underneath the pier in late summer, allowing for very close and intimate views of chicks and adults with little disturbance. In summer, this is a reliable place to see Мартин середземноморський, often side by side with Мартин звичайний. Through winter, flocks of Побережник білий, Кулик-сорока, and Мартин сріблястий can be seen regularly, along with Баклан великий, Мартин морський, and Клуша. Гагара червоношия have also been reported here.

Parking available throughout Mumbles within walking distnace, and some limited parking available right next to the pier itself. Recommend parking in the 'Big Apple Car Park' on the clifftop above the pier for great views. Cycling is common, including the use of the Swansea Santander hire bikes.
