Description
Spey Bay is situated on the mouth of the River Spey on the coast of the Moray Firth. Крячок річковий and Крячок полярний breed in summer. Autumn sees large passage of waders, dispersing seabirds such as Іпатка атлантична, Кайра тонкодзьоба, Гагарка мала, Баклан чубатий, Мартин трипалий and Сула атлантична. In winter and early spring the bay is a sheltered spot for large numbers of sea ducks and divers, also Мартин гренландський and Мартин полярний possible.

Access
Site is 8 miles east of Nairn, north of the A96 road. Car parking either side of the estuary, in Kingston or Spey Bay village. Click on a P in the map to get directions to that point.
