Description
Willow Tree Fen has a traditional fenland landscape of shallow meres, seasonally flooded pastures, hay meadows and reedbeds. Cattle graze Willow Tree Fen from April to November. It has up to 4 pairs of breeding Журавель сірий (2023). Winter roost holds 20 plus Лунь очеретяний, with reguler Лунь польовий. Журавель сірий roost on site. Сипуха, Сова болотяна and Лебідь-кликун in good numbers with the occasional apperance of Лебідь чорнодзьобий. All 3 Egret species are regular.

Access
Willow Tree Fen is situated between Baston and Spalding. The car park is located on Counter Drain Drove, pode hole, near Spalding. Click on the P in the map for directions. There is NO access accross the reserve but the car park is raised above the reserve and gives viewing accross the whole area. There is a path along the counter drain, which is open at some times of the year.
