Descripción

Gjógv is a tiny fishing village on the northeast tip of Eysturoy, famous for its 200‑meter sea gorge that serves as a natural harbor. You can choose to hike up north of the gorge. You'll then arrive at the top of the gorge. If you hike south of the gorge all the way to the end, you'll find yourself looking at a rock face. You can sit comfortably on the ground and photograph Frailecillo Atlánticos flying by. From above, you'll also have a view of the birds that frequent the gorge, such as Arao Aliblanco, Bisbita Costero and Charrán ártico.
