Description
Eagle Gorge is an easily accessible gorge from Dedoplistsqaro. Kızıl akbaba, Kara leylek and Gök doðan breed on the cliffs and can easily be seen from specific watchpoints along the routes. On warm days, Yılan Kartalı and Küçük kartal make regular appearances. In the forest down in the valley Sarıasma and Yeşil Çıvgın can be heard in spring and summer.
The cliff walls are home to Kaya sıvacısı, Gökardıç and Kaya kırlangıcı. Near the parking lot Karabaşlı kirazkuşu, Kirazkuşu and Çizgili ötleğen are heard singing or can be seen on migration. In autumn, Telli turna are sometimes seen migrating past the highest tops. Further along the path there is a breeding facility for wild Sülün , so a true wild bird of this species has to be encountered somewhere else.
