Description

Burg Linn is popular with history enthusiasts and families alike. It's also ideal for bird photographers, as the birds are quite accustomed to people. The park is open year-round, except during the Flachsmarkt (traditional craft market) in May, when birdwatching is not possible. The park features open meadows where you can observe Tahtalı, Gökçe güvercin, Kara kargası and Saksağan. There are designated dog-friendly meadows in the center of the park, as well as fenced pastures for cows and horses.

The park also boasts large ponds where you can often spot Yeşilbaş, Sakarmeke, Sutavuðu, Nil kazi, Tepeli patka and Kuğu. With a bit of luck you can also find Küçük batağan (they're often found in the nearby Greiffenhostpark when they're not in Burg Linn Park), and in winter also Çamurcun can be spotted. Gri balýkçýl is common.

Numerous songbird species can be found in bushes and trees, the most common being Mavi Baştankara, Büyük baþtankara, Kızılgerdan, Karabağlı ötleğen, Çıvgın, İspinoz, Saka, Sığırcık, Karatavuk and Öter ardıç. When you are lucky you can spot Benekli sinekkapan or Kocabaş.
