Description
The Biotopo La Rocchetta is a protected natural area covering 89 hectares. The most represented fauna is avifauna, whose habitat, consisting of marshy ponds, patches of riparian forest, scrubland, and dense reed beds, includes Yeşilbaş, Sutavuðu, Sakarmeke, Kamış Bülbülü, Çalı kamışçını, Dere düdükçünü, Sarý kuyruksallayan, Derekuşu, Yalıçapkını, and Dağ kuyruksallayanı. Noteworthy is the confirmed and completed nesting of a pair of Çulhakuşu, the first time in Trentino. Migrating Çamurcun, Fiyu, and Tarla kazi have been observed. The area can be visited via a circular path partly suspended on stilts and walkways with observation points.

Italiano: Il Biotopo La Rocchetta è un ambiente fluviale e perifluviale che si trova nella zona più bassa della Val di Non. Nell'area naturale protetta, che occupa una superficie di 89ha, il tipo di fauna più rappresentato è l'avifauna, nel cui habitat, composto da stagni paludosi, lembi di bosco ripariale, boscaglia e fitti canneti, sono presenti vari esemplari di uccelli nidificanti e migratori. Un sentiero ad anello in parte sospeso su palafitte e passerelle con punti di osservazione attraversa l'area.

Access
The Biotopo La Rocchetta is located 25 km north of Trento, close to Mezzolombardo. Press P on the map for directions to the parking lot. The area can be reached by taking the Trento-Malè railway, getting off at the Crescino station (where the information point is located), just 5 minutes from the Mezzolombardo station.
