In spring and summer, you can spot Kuğu, Yeşilbaş, and Sumru fishing in the water. During the winter, Büyük tarakdiş and Sakarmeke are commonly seen, and migratory gulls gather by the water. The uncommon Karasırtlı Martı as well as the rare Kuzey Gümüş Martı and Gümüş martı, regularly spend the winter in the harbour. With a bit of luck, Akdeniz Martısı can be seen throughout the year.

Public Transport: The area is well-connected by public transport. You can take the metro (M2) to Ouchy–Olympique station, which is just a short walk from the port. Trams and buses also serve the area.
The best way to explore Ouchy Port is on foot or by bike, as the area features pedestrian-friendly paths along the lake. A visit typically lasts around 1 to 2 hours, but you can easily extend your time if you wish to explore the lakeside further or relax in the parks.
