This is a great place for migrant waterbirds and other lake birds! A lot of rare birds visit this island each year and there is always something interesting to see! Most rarities turn up in April, May, September or October.
Wintering waterfowl including Kýzýlgerdanlý dalgýç, Kızılboyunlu batağan, other Grebes, several species of Duck, including Telkuyruk. Migrating waders in spring and autumn, including Poyrazkuşu, Uzunbacak, Kılıçgaga, Kara kızılbacak, Akça cılıbıt, Gümüş yağmurcun, Tasçeviren, Kıyı çamurçulluğu and many more. Also Küçük martı, Benekli suyelvesi, Kara sumru, Akkanatlı sumru and Bıyıklı Sumru and raptors and passerines pass over this spot.
