Description
The Yeşil Arıkuşu breeds in Asia, Northern Africa, and the Middle East. They also do so in eastern Turkey. They nest solitarily or in loose colonies of up to ten birds. They sometimes nest in colonies with Arıkuşu. The dry and open surroundings of the hamlet of Hüyüklü are a good spot to see Yeşil Arıkuşu. They are summer guests and breed in the area. Other birds you can see in the area are Arıkuşu, Küçük Kumru, Üveyik, Gökkuzgun, İbibik, Turaç, Kızıl şahin, Kara çaylak, Alaca Ağaçkakan, Kuyrukkakan, Ak Sırtlı Kuyrukkakan and dik kuyruklu ötleğen.
