The Sarıyer Feneryolu Birding Tower north of Istanbul is one of the best places in Europe to see spring raptor migration. 36 soaring bird species can be seen especially hundreds of Leylek, Şahin, Küçük Orman Kartalı and Arı Şahini. The observing point is out of the city of Istanbul with Bosphorus (Strait of Istanbul) view. Other birds that are often spotted are Büyük orman kartalı, Yılan Kartalı, Şah kartal, Atmaca and Kara leylek.

Sarıyer Feneryolu Birding Tower is located about 25 km north of Istanbul. There is car parking area. You can reach it by taking the bus after the underground (metro). The metro line is M2 (greenline), the bus number is 150 and 29 C.
