Description
Brandon Marsh has 8 bird hides situated around the reserve, overlooking pools hosting flocks of Fiyu, Çamurcun and Kaşıkgaga in winter, amongst smaller numbers of Altıngöz. Scrapes host passage waders in spring and autumn, with breeding Kızılbacak, Poyrazkuşu and Küçük halkalı cılıbıt in summer. Other notable breeding species include good numbers of Saz Kamışçını, Kındıra kamışçını and Kamış Bülbülü, Guguk and Su kılavuzu. Delice doğan are everpresent throughout summer and into autumn. During the winter Brandon is often host to a Caspian Gull which winters amongst the gulls on East Marsh, with a few Yellow-legged Gulls mixed in too. Notable rarities over the last few years have included Sürmeli kumkuşu and Çizgili Kumkuşu, Kızıl denizdüdükçünü, Boyunçeviren and Kızıl Başlı Örümcekkuşu.

Located off Brandon lane, best access is by driving but it is possible to cycle or walk from nearby Brandon village or Binley. Once parked, explore the reserve on foot.
