Broom Lakes are former gravel pits that have become a nice habitat with pools and wet meadows that are interesting for many water birds and waders. When you walk around Broom Lakes you can - depending on the season - see good numbers of duck, including Suna, Çamurcun, Fiyu, Tepeli patka, Boz ördek and Yeşilbaş. Both Bahri and Küçük batağan are often seen. Other birds that can be seen here include Sumru, Küçük halkalı cılıbıt, Halkalı cılıbıt, Poyrazkuşu, Kızkuşu, Kızılbacak, Büyük tarakdiş, Bataklık kirazkuşu, Sarı kirazkuşu, Kızıl Çaylak, Şahin and Kerkenez.
