Description
The brickworks only closed in the 1980’s and since then the buildings were cleared with just concrete foundations and a brick wharf giving any hint to the history of this site. Bülbül and Üveyik can be heard, and a colony of Akdeniz Martısı are usually found nesting offshore on Fowley Island. Among the other birds you can encounter in the area are Küçük Ak Gerdanlı Ötleğen, Yosun kazi, Suna, Guguk, Tarakdiş, Kılıçgaga, Poyrazkuşu, Gümüş yağmurcun, Kızkuşu, Kervançulluğu, Karakarınlı kumkuşu and Çamurçulluğu.
