Cors Ddyga and Malltraeth Marsh is one of the largest lowland wetlands in Wales with lakes, ponds, ditches, reedbeds and grasslands. The grassland supports one of the largest colonies of Kızkuşu in Wales. The area contains also Su çulluğu, Su kılavuzu, Çekirge Kamışçını, Büyük ak balýkçýl, Küçük ak balýkçýl and varied raptors - Kerkenez, Boz doğan, Delice doğan, Saz delicesi, Gök doðan, Şahin, Kızıl Çaylak, Kır baykuşu, Balık kartalı and Kuzgun. Küçük Tarla Kazı, Karabaş patka and Tarakdiş visit in winter.

Easy access from the A5 or A55 roads. Cycling is a very effective way of getting around the narrow lanes that crisscross the reserve. Nearest bus stop is at Pentre Beirw near the RSPB reserve. The reserve entrance is at the west end of Caerau Street but there does not appear to be car parking here. Note: Much of the reserve floods in winter.
