Stone Point offers a good vantage point over the River Colne with species such as Tarakdiş flying in and out of the Estuary. In the bushes and muddy areas you can find Taşkuşu, Bataklık kirazkuşu and kaya incirkuşu during the winter and if you are lucky Alaca kirazkuşu. The saltmarsh and beach are good places to watch Yosun kazi, Ak kumkuşu, Büyük kumkuşu, Karakarınlı kumkuşu, Halkalı cılıbıt, Kızılbacak, Kılıçgaga, Kervançulluğu, Gümüş yağmurcun, Çamurçulluğu and Kıyı çamurçulluğu at close range during the winter. The area can be busy with visitors so early or late visits can be productive.
