Description
The area around Errwood Reservoir is a good site for many upland woodland species such as Kara sinekkapan, Kızılkuyruk, Ağaç incirkuşu and Benekli sinekkapan and the best time to visit is in spring when the birds are in song. Orman çıvgını is also present some years. Dere düdükçünü, Küçük halkalı cılıbıt and Mandarin Ördeği can be found around the southern end of the reservoir itself and Kar Tavuğu ssp scotica and Kervançulluğu are common on the surrounding moors. Derekuşu and Dağ kuyruksallayanı inhabit the stream to the south of the reservoir and several species of raptor can often be seen in flight over the valley.
