At Ewelme the overgrown watercress beds provide shelter for rodents, which in turn attracts bird predators such as Peçeli Baykuş, Kızıl Çaylak, 3 egret species and Gri balýkçýl. Smaller birds include Florya, Saka, Karabağlı ötleğen and Bataklık kirazkuşu, pursued by Atmaca. King's Pool may have Yalıçapkını, Küçük batağan, Sutavuðu, Tepeli patka and Sakarmeke.

Access
From Oxford take A423 south for 12 miles then minor road left through Benson. There is no car park at the Watercress beds but onstreet parking in the village centre, plus car park near playground. Reserve access is free and unrestricted. Visitor centre admission £3, restricted hours.
