Middleton-in-Teesdale is a market town in County Durham. The settlement is surrounded by the North Pennines Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Spring offers a great opportunity of seeing a range of birds, including woodland specialists (Kara sinekkapan Kızılkuyruk), moorland specialists and bird of upland rivers such as Ormanhorozu, Dere düdükçünü and Derekuşu. Among the other birds you can encounter are Boğmaklı Ardıç, Dağ kuyruksallayanı, Karabaşlı iskete and Tarlakuşu.
