Description

The Moor Green Lakes Nature Reserve occupies 36 hectares north of the River Blackwater. A footpath runs along much of the River Blackwater and provides reasonable, but sometimes distant, views of the lakes. There are 2 hides on the reserve providing good views of the lakes. Resident birds are Küçük batağan, Bahri, Küçük ak balýkçýl, Atmaca, Kızkuşu, Kukumav, Yalıçapkını, Bataklık kirazkuşu, Şakrak and Kızıl Çaylak. Summer visitors are Küçük halkalı cılıbıt, Karabağ martı, Sumru and Delice doğan. In winter you can expect Büyük tarakdiş, Altıngöz, Sütlabi, Dağ kuyruksallayanı and sometimes Kır baykuşu. During migration birds like Çıkrıkçın, Balık kartalı, Saz delicesi and Yeşilbacak can sometimes be spotted.

At the western end, there is a small car park off Lower Sandhurst Road (SU 805 628), and at the eastern end, the Activity Centre car-park off Mill Lane (SU 821 620).
