Description
Parc Bryn Bach is a country park with lake. Yalıçapkını nest sites on the island. The area also has a Kum kırlangıcı colony. Tarlakuşu, Kızıl Çaylak, Bahri, Tepeli patka. Occasional rarity, eg Morbaş Patka in 2013. The moors to the south, with footpath access, rise to 450 metres, look for possible Taşkuşu, Kuyrukkakan, Çobanaldatan, Şahin, Kuzgun, Çayır incirkuşu, Guguk, Derekuşu or Dağ kuyruksallayanı.

From A465 Heads of the Valleys road, take Tredegar turning, then first right on minor road for half a mile. Car park on the left. Click on the P in the map for directions. Buses from Abergavenny or Cardiff. No train station nearby.
