Description
Spey Bay is situated on the mouth of the River Spey on the coast of the Moray Firth. Sumru and Kutup sumrusu breed in summer. Autumn sees large passage of waders, dispersing seabirds such as deniz papağanı, yaygın alk, Usturagaga, Tepeli Karabatak, Karaayaklı martı and Sümsükkuþu. In winter and early spring the bay is a sheltered spot for large numbers of sea ducks and divers, also Grönland Martısı and Kutup martısı possible.

Site is 8 miles east of Nairn, north of the A96 road. Car parking either side of the estuary, in Kingston or Spey Bay village. Click on a P in the map to get directions to that point.
