Description
Valley Wetlands RSPB Reserve has Balaban that can be heard booming and occasionally flying over the reedbeds. There is a Kum kırlangıcı colony on the river Crigyll, plus Bataklık kirazkuşu, Saz Kamışçını, Kındıra kamışçını, Çekirge Kamışçını, Taşkuşu and Tarlakuşu. In winter Kaşıkgaga, Fiyu, Çamurcun and Kilkuyruk. Best to visit before 8.30 am as the jets from the aerodrome are noisy later on. There are otters, dragonflies and pyramid orchids.

Valley Wetlands has a car park on site. The reserve is in the NW corner of Anglesey and accessible by bus or car, see link below. There is also a train station at Rhosneigr.
