Artificial lake in the middle of the viennese forest. The walk around the lake is about 4km long.

Description

acces is very easy, there are three parking possibility all around the lake and the train station is not far away. During summer the Great Crested Grebe is breeding openly, or the Grey Heron can be seen hunting. There is also a Common Kingfisher that shows itself every now and then. In the reed the Great Reed Warbler is singing happily. During winter all different kind of guests come by e.g. Common Pochard, Tufted Duck, Gadwall. The water is not always visible during the walk around the lake, but then forestbirds like different species of tits can be seen.

Either with the car or with the train and go for a walk. But you can also take the bike, inline skater or a skateboard.
