Description

This pond, in the marshy soils of the Dyle, is a Natura 2000 area that seeks to optimize the breeding and habitat for Little Bittern, Great Bittern and Spotted Crake. For the Great Egret, Grootbroek has become one of the most important places in Belgium. With a little luck you can see Common Kingfisher.
