This fast flowing stretch of the Ourthe River is a very reliable place for White-throated Dipper. It also features other typical Ardennes forest species.
A fast flowing stretch of the Ourthe. A reliable place for White-throated Dipper. And beavers. Features also many other common forest species of the Ardennes including tits (Willow Tit, Marsh Tit, Coal Tit). Although nearby Eurasian Treecreeper is common, here I only had Short-toed Treecreeper. In spring try your luck with Wood Warbler.
White-throated Dipper can often be found along the river near the car park. You can choose a circular trail for a little more diversity. De route shown on the map is 4,3 km.
