Description

The area of Trilogiport is located between the river Meuse and the Albert Canal, about ten km downstream from Liège. In recent years, many migratory birds have been attracted to the vast area formed by wet wasteland, ponds and meadows which is intended to welcome the Trilogiport, a major project developed by the Port of Liège. Sometimes rarities like Little Bunting are seen here. Among the more regular birds that are seen here are Little Grebe, Northern Lapwing, Little Ringed Plover, Eurasian Skylark, European Stonechat, Reed Bunting and Western Yellow Wagtail.
