Description

Vallei van de Zijpbeek (Valley of the Zijp stream) is a very differentiated area. With moors and heathland, wet and dry, with all the typical species to be expected. Among the birds you can see here are: Red-backed Shrike, Eurasian Nightjar, Pied Flycatcher, Spotted Flycatcher, Bluethroat, European Honey-buzzard, Eurasian Hobby, Black Woodpecker, European Stonechat, Tree Pipit, Wood Lark, Wood Warbler and Willow Tit.

Access

Access by car is difficult. No car park in the area. Easiest way is the road on the north side. (for parking see the P on the map). You have to explore the area on foot.
