Description

Open pasture land on a gentle slope of the Balkan Range. Easy access and posibility to watch a number of interesting birds of prey, attracted there by the European ground squirel colony. Beside Imperial Eagle and Lesser Spotted Eagle, over the ridge Golden Eagle appears, and with some luck hunting Saker Falcon can be observed, too. Exploring the area, one can see Black-headed Bunting, Isabelline Wheatear, Tawny Pipit, Greater Short-toed Lark and other.

Access

Following Road 6 (E773), about 1 km to the East of the deviation to Topolchane Village you can turn towards North on a cart truck and after crossing the irrigation canal, you can stop and park the car for exploring the area on foot.
