Description

Dubový Rybník is a shallow pond where rare birds like White-tailed Eagle or Osprey sometimes show up. Among the breeding birds are Western Marsh Harrier, Common Snipe, Great Reed Warbler and Grey Heron. In February and March, when they arrive from wintering grounds there is a chance to see Common Crane. Focus your binoculars on the reed beds and surrounding meadows to find them. All year round you can watch the hunting efforts of the Common Kingfisher or Grey Heron on the pond.
