Description

Arnkil Forest is located at the far end of the Arnkil peninsula between Augustenborg Fjord and Alssund. The area is a total of 106 hectares, of which the forest stands 66 hectares and the grazed plain area at the far end of Arnkilsøre approx. 30 hectares. Among the birds you can encounter are Little Grebe, Common Eider, Red-breasted Merganser, Eurasian Oystercatcher, European Golden Plover, Common Snipe, Sparrowhawk, Eurasian Hobby, Great Spotted Woodpecker, Eurasian Jay, Eurasian Nuthatch and Meadow Pipit.
