Egå Engsø is an artificial lake and wetland site where you can make a nice walk around the lake and see many birds.

Description

The lake covers approximately 115 hectares. On the south brink, there is a bird watching tower. Almost 200 different birdspecies have been seen here.

Lots of waterbirds during the winter, and breeding gulls during the spring, including the ocasional visits of White-tailed Eagle

Access

A 5 km long path runs round the lake. There are 2 parking lots; near the motorway junction from Lystrupvej at the north east corner and from Viengevej in the south east corner. You can park in several places around, but it is more enjoyable if you walk around, or travel with your bike.
