Description

Natural mangrove island accessed from the Sheraton Miramar Hotel beach at the right end around low tide. In the summer time the tides are especially low. Beach shoes are advisable. Among the birds you can see are Grey Heron, Western Reef-Heron, Greater Sand Plover, Osprey, Eurasian Curlew, Kentish Plover, White-eyed Gull, Caspian Tern, Striated Heron, Squacco Heron, Hooded Crow and Northern Wheatear.

Tok tok, walk, car, or bicycle to Sheraton Miramar Resort. Walk through the hotel to the beach and the mangrove island runs parallel.
