Description

Kirimäe Platform is located on the northern part of peninsula and at the edge of a little forest. Despite the forest you can see to the bay. You can easily scan flocks of birds and hear birds singing at the same time from the forest and from the reedbed. On rainy and wet days make sure to take rubber wellies with you. Among the birds you can encounter are Smew, Goosander, Long-tailed Duck, White-tailed Eagle, Sedge Warbler, Great Reed Warbler, Reed Bunting, Common Crane, Common Tern and Caspian Tern.

Access

After you turn on route 17 then drive about 500m and turn left to Kirimäesaare tee. There is little road which leads you to a parking lot. All the time hold to the left. Check the map app if needed. From the parking lot you have to continue by foot to north about 400m. This little road can be really muddy and wet.
