Description

Small lake surrounded by reeds, shrubs, and trees to provide a range of habitat for waterfowl and seasonal migrant songbirds. In central Helsinki so can be visited to start the day before work, school, or conferences. Easy to reach by public transport. You can see all the expected citybirds, but also birds like Common Tern, Common Cuckoo, Eurasian Treecreeper, Reed Warbler and Grey Plover.
