Description

ENS des Olivettes is a big water body with two good viewing points. Particularly attractive in winter for hundreds of ducks and gulls and during migration for species such as Black Tern or Little Gull. When the water level is not too high the islets provide good areas for waders.

There are colonies of Great Cormorant and Grey Heron on one of the islands and Stone-curlew breeds in the field along the path between the two bird hides.

No viewing points on the lake between the two bird hides but looking at the bushes can reveal a good diversity of passerines in season.
