Description

Etang salé de Courthézon has a footpath which runs around the wetland (1,5 km). It is also accessable for people with disabilities. Cattails, willows and white poplars are the main vegetation with grassland where horses of the Camargue graze. In the area you also find the finest wine "Chateauneuf du Pape", vineyard all around this place.

Some of the nice birds you can see around Etang salé de Courthézon are: European Bee-eater, Little Grebe, Common Nightingale, Reed Warbler, Eurasian Kestrel and Eurasian Green Woodpecker.
