The 'green belt' is 5 km trail through different habitas in the natura 2000 area of Lac de Grandlieu. Many migratory species can be seen along the way.

Description

The Coulée Verte (The Green Belt) runs along a stream, wet meadows a lake and reedbeds. Along the way it is easy to observe Northern Lapwing, Grey Heron, Great Egret, Little Egret, Cattle Egret, Common Buzzard, Eurasian Moorhen, Eurasian Coot, Black-crowned Night Heron. In winter, it is also possible to observe pairs of Mute Swan. In the area it is also possible to observe Purple Heron, Sacred Ibis, Glossy Ibis, Eurasian Spoonbill, Western Marsh Harrier, Black Kite.

Français: La Coulée Verte fait partie de la zone de natura 2000 du Lac de Grandlieu. On peut y croiser de nombreuses éspèces migratrices. Dans cette zonne, il est facil d'observer Northern Lapwing ,Grey Heron, Great Egret, Little Egret,Cattle Egret ,Common Buzzard,Eurasian Moorhen ,Eurasian Coot, Black-crowned Night Heron. En hiver, il est aussi possible d'observer des couples de Mute Swan . Access

You can explore the trail by bike or on foot. The green belt trail goes from La Chevrolière to Passay, leading directly to a panorama of the lake Lac de Grand-Lieu. NOTE: In winter, one of the areas of the green corridor is extremely muddy.
