Description

Loire Angevine is a beautiful area to watch birds along the river Loire. Observations of numerous water, local and migratory birds are easy. Next to that magnificent landscapes and a pleasant stroll. Among the more rare and special birds that have been seen here are Pectoral Sandpiper, Temminck's Stint, Marsh Sandpiper, Buff-breasted Sandpiper, Curlew Sandpiper, Black-winged Stilt, Gull-billed Tern, Black Stork and Osprey.

Possibility to park at the level of the "cales" (wedges), that are the access points to the water. Observation from these holds, or at water level (except winter). The route along the river Loire that you see on the map is 11 km.
